The Arts are a very important aspect of
our school program here at St. Rita. Students have many opportunities to gain an appreciation of the arts, improve their skills, and grow in creativity and confidence.
art class
The St. Rita Art curriculum focuses on teaching the elements of art and principles of design. Students learn about artists, art processes, and various mediums. Emphasis is on the joy of creating through drawing, painting, sculpting, and weaving.
Music
The Music Program at St. Rita instills a love of music through exposure to various genres. Students practice their singing and instrumental skills, but also learn about music theory, composers, and composition.

Missalette
In addition to performing in the school choir, students interested in singing and playing music are invited to join Missalette, a ‘rock’ band that performs throughout the community. Missalette just released their 2nd album in the fall of 2018. Click on the picture to the left for more information on this great opportunity for students!
Drama Club
The Drama Club brings the joy of theatre to students by teaching acting skills and providing high quality performances. In addition to being exposed to the love of the stage, students develop poise, confidence, and teamwork.
